Find treatment for mental health issues
Health centers and behavioral health treatment facilities can provide services that can help. Use this list to find:
- Free or low-cost treatment through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
- Locate health centers and support groups.
- Get information from your state’s mental health or substance abuse agency.
- Many of these services can help if you:
- Do not have insurance
- Are struggling to pay for treatment after insurance has covered qualifying services
- A health center near you to make an appointment for mental health services.
- How to join a mental health treatment clinical trial with the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
- Help for substance abuse, including treatment programs and specific support groups
- A behavioral health treatment facility. These facilities offer help with mental health issues or substance abuse.
- Mental health services for veterans and their family members.
- These services can help with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other issues.
