Halt the Hitchhiker: Invasive Species Challenge
Pitch your innovative ideas to stop boats from transporting invasive species.
Help remove the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS). AIS like zebra and golden mussels often travel in water trapped in the ballast tanks in boats.
The goal is to identify approaches that can kill, restrict, or inactivate AIS. This will help protect the Bureau of Reclamations’s water delivery and hydropower infrastructure.
